the first in a series of designs based off of the Echizen Kurage, an incredibly larger species of jellyfish. The series is somewhat inspired by Alice-Omega, and has simply grown from there.

Medical Kurage are actually blood packs and IV packs, thusly you can see in this instace the blood splashing to the lower side as the kurage moves. Their tentacles are adorned with medical equiptment of some form, the more dangerous bearing large arrays of needles, scalpels, and the like.

The first here is entitled "Traverse" as is simply a quick evasion and/or projectile movement tactic.

There will be more to come, as well as the reverse coloring to be used on a darker shirt.

I love this stencil. I really do. I love the idea for it and I can't wait to see the rest of this series, and hopefully buy at least one shirt from this series.

I think the idea of the Medical Kurage is really interesting.

The inhibitions of their prey kept them from screaming,
"Scratch my back and I will stab you in your's!"
That's awesome. I'd love to have that as a shirt.

The blood shwooshing inside of it adds a nice bit of color =P

Hi
I was staring at this and thinking about it and the image of a similar, more squid-shaped one popped into my head: a bodybag with strips of ribbon (ending in toe-tags) trailing after. These are so sinisterly cool. I think it's because they don't have anything identifiable as a "face" (although they do have heads). And that's backed up by the side views in the two other kurage pictures... Creepy.
