Artist's Comments

This is the first in what will hopefully be a long and diverse line of "UnBinary" ideas. The easiest was (of course) the transgender idea, but from there I'll be trying to touch upon anything and everything that is unsual and different in this entire god damn world. That which is not typical, that which makes people turn their head because their mind can not comprehend it in binary terms in a quick and prefered fashion.

The stencil on the left would be an example of on a white shirt, the right as an example on the black shirt. This will be a TWO layer stencil due to the binary translation seen here. All colors will be (of course) available.

its good, a good design for a shirt, but at first the girl half confused me. I couldnt figure out what was on her thigh... maybe something small and subtle to separate the halves? a dotted, light gray line maybe? right now it kinda looks like a wedge of cheese on the female side's thigh >.>

I love the fact that the binary says something relating to the image rather than just being a random string of 1s and 0s.

everything in the binary series will translate, even if it's just a patch i'm making for a shirt or a quick spray-on decal. i HATE binary that doesn't translate, and now that I have a translator under my bookmarks, everything will translate through.

it's a pet peeve of mine XD

Out of curiosity, why did you make it say 'no'?

Love the idea. And I disagree with 0-kyo; I think the concept of half-man half-woman is perfectly plain to see.

no for a billion different reasons. no to being binary in gender or sex. no to having a single gender and only that. no to only identifying as the gender you're born with. no to the need of understanding.

This is probably one of my favorite of the three, just because it's rare that you see something that's NOT about being transgender in the binary sense. NOT M>F or F>M. It's both at the same time, which I like and can definately relate to.

:3 I would honestly consider getting a shirt with this on it from you.
