I'm going to attempt doing them directly on the comp, yet the only reason I don't do that shit lately is because I'm running Photoshop 6.0 on Tiger, which means I need to actually open it in classic 9.4 [mac os x, for those that don't get what i'm saying]. Doing so makes my tablet skip and tremble, making it impossible to make the lines i prefer.
I may attempt again at Illustrator, and I will probably do that tonight.
A few of the stencils and sketches done are:
Medical IV Kurage: a hybrid between a jellyfish and an IV blood pack. I'm blaming this one general inspiration from Friends With You and Alice 0mega. The tentables often end in needles and the like, and personally I like how it came out. I'll be attempting it in different styles, but at the moment it's simply in my own
Flutterdown: Stencil of a moth/butterfly nailed into a light bulb
Little Love: Sillhouette of two "tv people" hunched over, leaning in towards one another with a heart in each screen
there are many more, however sadly I have to wait for the new version I'm getting of Adobe Photoshop to get alot of what I want done with the Pitbull series, as I plan to use 90% real photos for that. One sketch I am working on is a style far more realistic than I typically use of a pitbull attacking a child, and another of a pitbull over a dead baby. There will be text below each image reading "lies", "myth", and "bullshit"
I'm also researching into actual images of euthanized pits. I'll be stenciling their happy little "please adopt me" portraits with the general date below reading "put down #/##" and "euthanized #/##"
I was asked in a comment on my main page how these will be sold once in production.
I will be setting up a paypal account and also taking well hidden cash [if you dare. i wouldn't] and money orders. They will be made at my house and sent out from my house, with no middle man. FUCK cafe press and it's need to take my god damn money.
I'm concidering making an Etsy eventually, but not anytime soon.
